Spirit Levels Up

Sometimes life takes it out of us all and it’s just good to have our spirits raised.

I hope you enjoy this clip from Les Choristes.

(Thanks to euzicasa for reminding me of this movie – he has another version of this song here – http://euzicasa.wordpress.com/2012/01/22/les-choristes-caresse-sur-locean-au-palais-des-congres/)

  3. Absolutely beautiful (and I love the link). Part of my long Tonga story (which I guess you remind me of frequently), was when a Tongan man whose name I can’t recall now, drove us around the island of Vava’u in his beat up old Mercedes (think Fred Flinstone’s car) – we were rarely on a road. If we needed a restroom, we stopped at a random house to use their outhouse (electricity had just made it to the island). It was a Sunday, and every where we went beautiful, uplifting voices were singing in churches that looked like they had been bombed. The voices echoed across the island. They were filled with joy.

  5. I play this music often…it stirs my heart. I’ve enjoy reading on your blog…considering how we are connected in this world is a systems theory perspective and one that I believe also helps us understand our existance/life. Thanks for the “like” and visit!
